Deutsche Bahn Offices — Railside Campus

The comb-like structure of the new office building stems from its urban context. The long five-story building forms a spine on the railway-facing side, mirroring the curve of the railway line.

The priority is to design bright office spaces that are flexible and offer optimal working conditions. This is achieved largely through a large, double-layered soundproof facade to mitigate sound from the adjecent railway tracks.

On the east side, transparent structures alternate with small courtyards, echoing the neighborhood's diversity. The building block features perforated facades, extending their color scheme into the interior and creating a subtle glow through the glass facades of the courtyard views.
